A nature deity is a deity responsible for the forces of nature. There are numerous deities that represent nature in various ways. Among others, Nymphs and Satyrs embody natural forces and can have various characteristics such as fertility, harvest, rivers, mountains, animals, and the earth itself. In Greek mythology, there is no original text that introduces all of the myths’ characters and stories. Instead, the earliest Greek myths were part of an oral tradition that began in the Bronze Age.
